As open plan living is becoming more and more popular, our customers are asking more and more for dual zone speaker systems consisting of ceiling speakers and outdoor speakers that offer maximum value for money without costing a fortune.
A dual zone speaker system is a system powered by a single amplifier that offers music in up to two adjacent rooms.
They would normally be for rooms such as your bedroom & en-suite, kitchen & dining room or kitchen & patio.
Most of our bundles include a three way speaker selector switch which allows you to have one pair on at a time, or both pairs on together. It’s a cost effective way of adding music to two adjacent rooms that’ll always play the same music together.
If you’ve got an open plan or adjacent kitchen and dining room then you’ll likely want speakers in both areas. These bundles allow you to have a pair of speakers in both rooms but with the three way selector switch you can easily have just the dining room on, just the kitchen on or both rooms on.
The Systemline E50 Dual Zone bundle is a popular system for dual zones in kitchens and dining rooms.
When you add speakers to a bedroom it’s often a great idea to add music into the en-suite or dressing room at the same time.
This can be done quite easily using one of our dual zone bundles such as the Lithe Audio Bluetooth Ceiling Speaker Bedroom + Bathroom bundle. Both speakers will play at the same time but it’s cheaper than buying two separate systems and you’ll likely never play different music in both areas at the same time anyway.
Another common setup is to have a pair of ceiling speakers in the kitchen and a pair of wall mounted outdoor speakers on the patio.
If your kitchen leads out onto the patio then it’s often a great idea to keep them on one system and use a three way selector switch to choose between the kitchen, patio or both sets of speakers at the same time.
